Nine Bennink is a lawyer for the creative and technical industries.
She is a specialist in the field of IP, privacy and Artificial Intelligence, and advises and litigates in those areas of the law.
Nine studied Law and ICT at the University of Groningen, focusing on IT and IP law. She opted for that major because she wished to practice the legal profession at the interface of creativity, technology and law. She started her career in 2014 at a medium-sized law firm in the east of the country and later worked at a specialised niche law firm in Amsterdam. She switched to Köster in early 2020.
Nine completed the Grotius Information Law/VIRA (Association of Informatics Lawyers) postgraduate specialist course in 2017. At the end of 2021 she will finish the postgraduate specialist course Grotius Privacy.
Nine is a member of various associations in her field and sits on the board of the Dutch Association for Robot Law and Artificial Intelligence (NVAIR). She is also active within Rotaract Amsterdam and devotes herself to various volunteer projects in the region.
