Archana Mahabiersing started her career as a lawyer in 2013 and specialises in procedural law. Within the litigation practice group, she is furthermore in charge of the attachment and enforcement law team.
Litigating involves more than merely arguing a case on the basis of knowledge of the law. It requires strategic and astute thinking. Archana considers that her added value: “Many litigation means are available to influence the course of a case. They must be put to creative and informed use to achieve the best outcome for a client.”
Archana is a real go-getter: single-minded and persistent. She has a strong will to win. And she is able to put those properties to successful use as a litigation lawyer.
Until the end of February 2018, Archana was chair of the board of the Dutch Young Bar Association of Noord-Holland. In 2019, she successfully completed the Grotius Dutch and International Contracting specialist course. Archana is a member of the Dutch Litigation Law Association (NVvP) and in February 2020 will be joining the board of the Association of Debt Collection and Litigation Lawyers (VIA), the (only) association of litigation lawyers of the Dutch Bar Association.
Archana is a passionate football fan and has a seat on the members’ council of the supporters’ club of her favourite football club.
