Tosca Deenik joined Köster in 2018, after obtaining a Master’s degree in Private Law in Amsterdam, and was sworn in as a lawyer in February 2019. She has worked in the Property Law and Litigation teams since then.
Property law covers a wide range of legal disciplines. Knowledge of the industry is as essential as knowledge of the law. Tosca is particularly active in the fields of the purchase and sale of property, construction law and liability of professionals, such as estate agents, civil-law notaries and architects.
Procedural law is a specialist field. A thorough knowledge of the rules of procedure is required for a case to succeed in court. As a member of the Litigation team, Tosca also assists in appeals before the Supreme Court, which call for an individual approach and perspective. Such a perspective is also of great value in proceedings before the court or the court of appeal; the case is then optimally prepared if it comes before the Supreme Court.
The combination with property law gives Tosca an edge in all legal procedures, from arbitration to cassation appeals.
