Nicky Loekemeijer

The solution to a dispute cannot always be found within the legal spectrum only. My background in social geography and physical planning give me a broader perspective on a case.

Nicky Loekemeijer works as a lawyer in the Real Estate team, focusing on general administrative law, environmental and planning law, and spatial planning. Nicky deals with zoning plans, permits under the Environment and Planning Act, and enforcement issues, among other things.

A client may rely on it that its case is in good hands with Nicky. She always tries to bring the case to a good solution. In her view, that solution must be practicable in the long term. In doing so, it is necessary to look beyond the legal dispute. On the route to be followed, Nicky always gives honest advice on the approach to be taken:

“Nobody is waiting for years of costly legal proceedings in which the relations between the parties are put under further pressure and in which those proceedings do not ultimately lead to a long-term solution.”

Nicky was sworn in as a lawyer in January 2018. Before joining Köster Advocaten, Nicky worked for five years at an Amsterdam law firm where she also dealt with real estate law. She studied at Utrecht University and the University of Amsterdam. In addition to her legal studies, she also obtained a bachelor’s degree in social geography and physical planning.

In her spare time, Nicky enjoys dancing salsa, bachata and kizomba, and also teaches dance.
