Offering a client a fast and practical full-service solution as part of a close working relationship is extremely gratifying.
Frédérique specialises in insolvency and corporate law. Her areas of expertise include restructurings, security interests and shareholder disputes. If a case so requires, she also represents clients in court proceedings.
Frédérique is furthermore involved in the settlement of insolvencies in which Köster’s trustees have been appointed by the District Court of Noord-Holland. Her many years of experience as a trustee enable her to provide excellent assistance to clients facing insolvency and directors’ liability. Her passion for insolvency law in particular makes her flexible and far-sighted in determining her approach.
“Advising a client on the basis of a trustee’s way of working and line of thought offers a great deal of added value.”
Frédérique joined Köster Advocaten on 1 April 2023. Before then, she worked for quite some time as a lawyer and trustee at HJ Advocaten in Amsterdam. Frédérique obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Leiden University. She completed a master’s degree course in Private Law Practice at the University of Amsterdam. Frédérique gained experience during her studies by completing several student traineeships in the legal profession and as an external court clerk at the Court of Appeal of The Hague. She completed the Grotius Insolvency Law specialisation course in 2021.
Frédérique is a candidate for membership of Insolad (the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers).
